Burning the Midnite Oil
Wow-ee, this summer is going fast. I have a bunch of projects that are on the cusp of being finished. I would roll them all out at once, but I’m resolving to try to do this “blogging” thing.
The quick project this week was designing and launching a site for a company I’m involved with: FAKTIONLABS. We are all friends dating back to college, and being musicians and techie-geeks, we decided to work on some things to make musicians and artists lives easier. Peak your interest? You’ll just have to keep checking back! 
We were by no means trying to re-invent the wheel on this site, and we purposely tried to stay away from web2.0-face goodness.
For your pleasure, the site was hand-coded in VIM. In the future, we may decide to throw it up on a CMS, but for the time being, as small as it is, this works out just fine.
